A Letter from Kris

Hello everyone, if you're reading this right now, it means you're a massive Mega Pal to us, and we all individually have a crush on you. Have you done something new with your hair? It looks great.

We've been doing a lot over here at Explosm to make new and exciting stuff, and want to thank you for being a part of it. I feel the podcast is growing it's roots, and we all have a lot of fun doing it. We're busting/laughing our ass off as we work on the games, and even got a couple secret projects in the mix. In fact, I've spent the last few weeks recording over 6,000 lines of voice acting for the adventure game Freakpocalypse, so time and space is a distant concept that I no longer grasp after being in a soundproof room saying weird shit for weeks on end.

Something that's great about Patreon that we didn't expect is getting to interact with folks like yourself at more of an eye level. Whether it's on the discord, on Patreon itself, or meeting an Ultra Mega Pal at conventions, it's nice to chat and discuss things we could make that are as entertaining to you as they are to us. We're trying out new ideas, like let's plays, Patreon only Q&A questions etc so let us know what sounds fun in your opinion. We've been cartoon nerds working constantly in dark rooms in front of our computer screens for a long time, so it's nice to interact with people enjoying them every once in a while.

Once again, since Rob and Dave can't see this as I write it, I'll give some top secret insider information about us.

Dave has impressive and extensive knowledge about fish, and laughs almost every time the word 'fish' is uttered.

Rob might have an allergy to red meat, but that won't ever stop him from going down on a steak like it's his prom date.

I grew up raising chickens, peacocks, and ducks. I have no idea what to do with my poultry knowledge, aside from assembling an army of them just in case I need to dispose of dead bodies.
