Endymion AMA

Now, I realize it's "Ask me Anything" but it's not "Answer everything" so... try not to ask questions regarding the current comic stuff. I will not post spoilers or answer anything that might be considered a spoiler. Keep in mind that the Endymion in the RP is separate and different from the Endymion in the comic (Same base, different story). So let's try not to get those confused for those of you that know Endy from the RP. If, however, you want to know things about the RP Endymion specifically, be sure to specify that in your questions. You can post your questions here, on twitter, email me, in a private message here. You can also send them to me in a PM on DA, FA, the Kaerwyn forums, the BT forums, or on Kaerwyn's IRC (But chances of me forgetting or missing them goes way way up if you use any of these methods). I'll be answering these on Saturday, August 1st. It would be best if you ask them in a reply here so I can just reply to them. If people seem interested in this, we'll do another next week.

I'll give most sports a try, but those three are my favorites. I used to play Rahkatball, Track and Swim competitively while I was in school. Now I coach rahkatball. Well I did, until that bedamned rift got me.

Why would I want to be anything different from myself? What do I like best? That being human is me. It's a natural part of me. I don't want to lose that part of myself. My people believe that shapeshifting causes the loss of the sense of self - which is why it's a forbidden Art. I don't want that to happen to me.

2015-08-01 18:03:35 +0000 UTCEndymion: Well, my least favorite is the salt water. Well, really it's the salt thing. Everything tastes weird and you need a lot of salt to make it taste better. But the idea of drinking saltwater still makes me a little queasy. I really haven't found a favorite thing about it. It was forced on me, it's caused me hardships, my life has really not been that great since it happened. The only benefit it really affords me is that Niixa is much more approachable when I'm this way. But I'd much rather be done with it.

2015-08-01 16:53:44 +0000 UTC<endymion> Okay, well, I don't really like to think in terms of my best or worst students. Most of my students are wonderful. But there are certain traits that I prefer or greatly dislike in my students. I would rather think along those terms. My best students are those that not only have a strong desire to learn, but go on to surpass my knowledge of certain fields. I like students that are willing to challenge my knowledge. In a way, they help me learn as well. And then sometimes we get students that are just there to learn the Art because they think it's the fast track to riches, or power. Those students usually don't make it far enough to actually get into my classes. A lot of times these students are from rich parents that think they can buy their education. Not in my classes. The most important thing to teach my students is critical thinking skills. The Art will only go so far, but a clear mind will get them much farther in anything they do.

I guess that's like asking someone from Earth what their first try with Crayons is like. It's not something one can really recall to answer. It's very commonplace for us.
