Anki Deck Demo Live
Added 2025-04-22 00:00:16 +0000 UTCAfter much tinkering, I finally have what seems to be a working version of the Anki deck template with dark mode toggle + suitability/scaleability for all devices. I'd be very grateful if those of you who use Anki could give it a test run and let me know your thoughts. Just download the file from this post, click File > Import in Anki, and you're good to go.
These are very much a work in progress so your feedback will be essential in determining how the finished product looks.

Hi Pako, thanks for the feedback. It's useful to know that a .zip extension as added - I'll either find a workaround or make people aware of it going forward.

It should look like this if so: https://postimg.cc/bGVdXshS The white border will only be present if you're using default display, AFAIK. Regarding the black pitch accent display being difficult to distinguish from the background, I did tweak this a little, but also wanted to keep the background sufficiently dark that it still harmonized with the dark mode border. I'll play around with the coloring a little more. I don't know how write code, so I had Grok make everything with lots of trial and error. Of course you're free to tweak it to your liking - as long as the code is kept consistent between decks, you'll be able to import each batch of 10 into a master deck as new videos are released.

2025-04-23 02:34:37 +0000 UTCI love it!! Thanks! A couple small things - Would be nice if dark-mode had no light borders around the cards. I'm having some difficulty reading the CSS here... There's a lot of it! - Because pitch_accent is an image, it ignores dark-mode (might need a light-ish background on either mode) My personal way to use it - I'm more focused on speaking/listening (for now), so I put the pitch_accent and audio_word on the front of the card instead of the back. Anyways, 10/10. Anything more is bonus points! : D

2025-04-22 21:41:40 +0000 UTCIt worked but my phone downloaded it with .zip at the end of a name file and i had to delete those letters. Edit: i tested it and its so amazing, till now i only created anki by myself so i didn't even know you could add recordings and pictures like that. So 🤩
