Dev Ramblings (Sex)

Hello there!

This Dev Ramblings will go over our current plans and thoughts for the Sex System. As this is talking about something upcoming, things are subject to change based on development, feedback, and playtesting. So, keep that in mind as you read.

I will start out by saying that Sex is meant to be an expansion of the Foreplay System, or you could say Foreplay is an expansion of the Sex System. The main thing is that they will work hand in hand and work off each other. They will build off one another and work off similar systems, though their purpose and how they grow may differ from one another.

While Foreplay’s main goal is to make both you and your partner aroused and hard, Sex’s main goal is the climax of you and/or your partner. Rather than teasing actions, Sex will deal with fully lewd actions like penetration, oral or anal, and other such acts. But in essence it will work similarly with changing positions, the ability to strip clothes (if any are remaining), and Action Events/Scenes.

The main idea behind our Foreplay/Sex System is to make it engaging and customizable, letting you choose how you go about it, but not overly long and tedious as current systems like Masturbation can feel like. Outside of stripping and position changes, you’ll probably only get a few actions before you and/or your partner are on the verge of climaxing. Though with edging and breaks, you could potentially keep sex going on longer, much to the frustration or excitement of your partner.

As mentioned in the foreplay ramblings, your character can be either a Top or a Bottoms. That is, you can give or you can receive. While some NPCs may lock one or the other until a condition is met, you generally will be able to choose. Dom and Sub roles will be the same, with the Dom controlling the actions and course of the encounter. At the beginning, the player will only be able to be in the Dom role, but we have plans to let them be a Sub soon.

But how will being a Sub differ? Well, the current plan is to give each NPC certain “Agendas” that they will try to fulfill. This can be as simple as stripping both them and the player and humping them until climax, but some NPCs may have certain ones to unlock. Say you spanked Lucas a little too much during an encounter? Well, he may get revenge and instead of his normal agenda decide to strip the player and spank him until he comes. Or maybe he’s had a dream of some lewd action he’s never tried before and attempts it with the player. This is planned to give the player some stuff to look forward to after unlocking sex and keep them on their toes.

But what about when they are the Dom? Can the player look forward to unlocking anything? Yes. Each NPC has certain kinks that they are into from the start, but many of our young lads haven’t fully explored the sexual preferences they have. Some boys may start with certain turn-offs that the player can grow into a turn-on to unlock more options. Or maybe even keep them a turn-off, but get your partner to allow them anyway. PC will also unlock stuff using the Kink System, which is being expanded upon as well. No matter what role you play, you will be able to unlock stuff to keep things fresh!

With a brief explanation out of the way, let me answer some expected questions people may have to give them some ideas on how we plan to move forward:

Will there be ONLY Penetration in Sex?

No. While a large part of it will include this, especially in the first version, for those not interested in that or who wants something different every now and again, sex will include other options. Some notable include Blowjobs, Joint Masturbation, Frotting, and the use of Toys. Some Sexual Encounters will also be solely contained in Foreplay, making you or your partner cum before anything too extreme happens. That is the flexibility we want with this system.

Will Sex end upon climaxing?

No, but with some conditions. Unlike with the Blowjob and Masturbation System, you can sometimes keep going after an orgasm. When one or both participates climax, you’ll be given the option to have the encounter end in most cases, unless you are the Sub, but you can also sometimes keep going. Did only one person cum and you want the other to as well? Do you want to blow multiple loads into your partner or force them to? Our plan is to allow you to do this, within reason. This will be explained in more detail later, but for now think of it as the Player and their Partner’s stamina and endurance being taken into play. A horny pent-up Lucas who you’ve been teasing for a while will last longer than Noah on his first night.

Can you end Sex without climaxing?

Yes. Denial is something you can do and that will be tracked. You can bring partners to the brink before ripping it away and ending it, causing them to become more pent up and lead to them being more horny later or maybe unlock some scenes of them pleasuring themselves out of desperation. You can also deny mid-encounter to make a boy get pent up. The more pent up a boy is, the more they may be willing to do things they normally wouldn’t, within reason. Maybe Noah would let you spank him hard with the reward of finally orgasming. Or maybe Lucas will let you do things he’s not comfortable with in order to retrieve relief. Or you can just not give it to them and enjoy walking off with them unsatisfied.

Who will be sex-able first?

Lucas. He is our test dummy in most cases. However, work has begun on making it available for Noah and Carter as well. Each of those two will also bring with them a sort of ‘expansion’ to the Foreplay/Sex System that aligns with their interest/situations.

Will tightness be a factor in Anal/Penetration?

Yes. Based on factors such as age and experience level, each NPC will have a default ‘tightness level’. This will determine how hard it is to penetrate them and how they react. Using Noah as an example, he may be very hesitant and even cry due to the pain and uncomfortableness that comes with his first few times, but once his body gets use to it and loosens up, it will be much easier for him. Though this isn’t a permanent change. If an NPC goes long enough without penetration, they may slowly return to their default level. This will also affect the PC and you’ll have many ways to play with this system. Some examples include: going in raw to increase pain, using things such as lube to make it easier, using toys and plugs to keep tightness from returning, and the ability to inspect the holes of the PC and NPCs, either awake or secretly as they sleep.

When can we expect the Sex Update?

I don’t want to give exact dates. (I am cursed to always miss them if I do.) But, a version of it, probably early but enough to be playable, will be out before the end of June, as I will be away for a few weeks during that time. I plan to still work on LaaB, but will only be able to write during this time and want you all to be able to experience it before then. So, at the very least, you have an end date of the latest it can come out, though we are hoping for it before that.

What about Carter’s Questline? And the other boys?

Due to Sex/Foreplay being a constant thing we are going to work on, starting now Carter’s questline is continuing to be a focus. Our plan is to split work between them to prevent the burn-out that occurred during Foreplay Production and to keep things fresh. This will allow those who want sex and those who want other stuff to be satisfied. You may even see some quests for the other boys sooner than you think.

And with that, I hope you are as excited as we are for what we have in store for Foreplay, Sex, and everything else going forward. This has been a system I have pondered for a while and though it may not be as perfect as I wanted, I am very excited for what we have planned and how we can try to make this the best shota sex system around!
