2024-05-15 19:15:10 +0000 UTCMy own “if you know any moms” story: I am a music teacher and my position is districtwide so I go to five different schools and am sort of all over the place. It’s my second year in this district (18th overall!) and I love the autonomy of this job but it is harder to meet people so outside of my department I really don’t know anyone (I’m also ok with this lol). Anyway, in September when we had our first day back of meetings, a music colleague of mine introduced me to a few other teachers. One of the woman’s name was very familiar so I started to say “your name sounds familiar” but I totally had an awkward brain fart and instead said “I think I like your name. I’ve heard your name and I like your name.” She was like “umm thanks.” Bethos. I cringe every time I see her in the hallways. 😬
