Been to all good things festivals since its inception. Even if it’s just nostalgia lineups it’s a fun day out and an excuse to take the day off work and day drink. Gotta support live music or they just pull the pin and we never have any bands coming out to Aus.

Read Kaczinskys manifesto and it explains the psychology behind why wealthy people have such glaring vices. Basically they are too comfortable in life, and create risks so that they get the adrenaline rush and feelings of novelty. At the point where life is no longer about survival or reaching your goals which contains risk, they need to fabricate a risk/reward system for themselves.

The difference between a symphony and a philharmonic lies in a choice of words used to name an orchestra. ‘Symphony’ literally means ‘agreement of sound’, and comes from the Greek word symphōnía. ‘Philharmonic’, also derived from Greek, means ‘love of harmony’ (‘phil’, like ‘philos’, is the love bit, harmonic, like ‘harmonikos’, is the harmony bit). Symphony was a name that made sense for these groups performing symphonies and, as well as being used to name specific orchestras, is also a catch-all term for the type of ensemble. It follows that an obvious official name for distinct groups, then, would be the ‘Something’ Symphony Orchestra.

Silverchair is better than smashing pumpkins to me, punk was huge in the 70s and 80s outside of America though, and I was sure it was 93 nevermind came out. Professor of rock covers lots of this stuff as well as others I've lost track of. Linkin park is better than smashing pumpkins, more energy to it even if it's depressing. Definitely haven't wasted my autism hole, it's my career and hobby.
