2023-04-03 13:37:05 +0000 UTCWith all due respect and love for Dr. Wider, the idea to have every school in this country “gun proof” every single classroom seems like a very unattainable, optimistic pipe dream. The more logical solution is to stop gun manufacturers from producing and selling artillery meant to brutally murder massive amounts of living beings in the quickest amount of time. Full Stop!! These AR 15’s are not meant for hunting. They are designed to destroy life in the blink of an eye turning the victims into puddles of blood. Period. Until we stop their production and sales this national nightmare will NEVER END!!! And that IS something that can be done through legislation. But the money runs too deep. I don’t think it will ever change until Republican Senators and Representatives are ever personally affected. Witch I don’t wish upon them. But the Money and Power rules their greedy brains. Vote put these ignorant Republicans and vote in people that will enact new laws.

They had locked doors, they followed lockdown procedures and still, evil crept in and decimated innocent victims. I wept when I saw the pictures of the victims. I have 2 boys, 10 and 8. All I could think about is the sheer terror those children felt in their final moments of life, and the pain their poor families must be suffering and dear God please let this not happen to my babies. Our country HAS to get its shit together and fix this. This is a nonpartisan issue. Since 1912 children in the US have been required to go to school. Our government should ensure they can do that without being murdered. Something has to change! Also, bravo to the Nashville police. Four minutes and they stopped the shooter. I pray my police can do the same thing where I live.
