This wasn't a request, so it's just a podcast with a cool thumbnail instead of a full video. I didn't wanna spend too much time on visuals that could be better spent on the stuff you want. I just felt like talking about this one cause i was looking forward to it.
I liked the first one a lot, it was fresh and fun and silly and scary and poopy. I remember doing a video about it forever ago. Not a good video mind you, but certainly a video. I guess i'll link that here too in case you never saw it, but i'm warning you it's uh... not my best.

Maybe someday i'll return to these two and put together something more... terrifying to do the series justice. Though frankly i'm not sure i like the direction it's going. Terrifier 2 certainly lives up to and in some parts surpasses the nasty ugly poopy gory insanity of the first one, but it really drops a dump when it comes to the plot, by rather unnecessarily attempting to have one.
I don't need Art The Clown to have glowy eyes, an invisible Alexa Bliss friend and also vaguely defined magic powers. I don't need him showing up in people's dreams like Freddy Krueger with his own little special dream palace. I don't care to see his Hell-portal and i definitely don't care to ponder whether or not he's gonna regrow himself from the neck down like Deadpool after materializing in a previous victim's pussy.
Yes, all of that is in this movie, none of it makes any sense or even tries to, and it all adds up to 2 and a half hours which is the kind of runtime i would expect from something like Dune, not fucking Terrifier. Nothing terrifying can happen after the 2 hour mark cause now you're just eating into Grandpa's nap time.
The first movie was lean, mean and obscene. It knew what it was. Just some straight up scary spooky bullshit. Art didn't need to come back from the dead and have friends on the other side. He was just a crazy man who liked to dress up as a clown, rip people's titties off, wear those titties on his body like a tittie suit, and smear his poop all over the place. Simple. Elegant. Iconic.
Terrifier 2 is a bloated, confusing mess. It's got some really fun scenes and fucked up shit both literal and figurative that's on par with the first, but it also tries way too hard to expand the lore in some annoyingly obtuse ways and as a result it starts to seriously drag ass cause of all the pointless sequel baggage weighing it down.
