Buff Movie Review: American Pop

I am a dishwasher. My hands are permanently puckered and i got troubles going back generations. I got rock n roll in my soul and i'm dyin for a dream. Cause some dreams ain't what they seems. Sometimes it seems everything's coming up Milhouse and other times you're just plain coming apart at the seams. Sometimes you waste your entire stupid life trying to be an artist only for it all to be a pointless fucking nightmare that leaves you broken and backed into a corner. 

Maybe a few generations from now the last in line will come along and make it all mean something, maybe that's you or maybe you're the burnt out bastard that oughta just pass the torch and putz off to go fade away, out of the way. That's the way i'm feelin cause that's the way it be, the American Way. You either hop to the top or bop till ya drop. That's American Pop and the slop never stops. 

I'll stop being clever now so you can actually understand what the hell i'm talking about. This is a very cool movie unlike anything you've ever seen, directed and projected from the mind of animation legend, Ralph Bakshi. This is a movie for rockers, rollers and Buff Movie Buffs. If you're not at least all 3 of those things you ain't invited cause you ain't cool and you don't know the struggle. 

Requested by Demonica, and watched by me twice. That's how much i dug it. Why? Cause it's nice. But it's also not nice. It's also depressing and raw and real, verily true to what life doth deal. It rocks and rips. It's very hip. It's RockaRollaColaPop, come and take a sip. It socks you in the eye like Rock n Rye, flying like a pie from a painted up guy. It's down to clown and full of sound, with a lot profound to say. As some real Power Pop Punkers once famously dropped, Everything's backward in Americana my way.
