Story YCHs
Added 2019-05-02 20:15:11 +0000 UTCI have a couple ideas in mind (literally two, right now) for some YCH offers, but I want your opinion on how to offer them! I've always just done the flat price offer, with you guys getting it some arbitrary amount cheaper than non-patrons; if none of y'all hop on it then I post it around to FA and SF and such.
However, I was also thinking about doing these two as silent-auction type things, in the form of a poll with a few general preferences about the story (public or private? with this hypothetical rimming scenario, would you like your character to give or receive the licking? do you want the other character to be dom or sub? etc) and then a final category for, like "What's your offer on this piece?" with a certain minimum.
However! I'm not sure how your Patreon discount on YCH offers would factor into that. Maybe as a flat price reduction if you win the story, or a reduced minimum? I think the price reduction would be easier, and also fairly simple to keep track of - like if a non-patron puts down, say, $80, and you do $95, you'd win the story, but only have to pay, like, $75 after that flat reduction. I dunno.
What do you guys think? The auction idea makes it a lot less time-restrictive, which is why I think it's a better idea than just responding to the first person that catches the offer.
