Done with the initial designs (that are prolly not final)
Reason behind all of this is that I wanted to have some sort of running theme to some of my art. I tend to see artists have characters interact with each other as well as the audience.
Kinda wanted to try the same. I want an OC or two that I can always draw.
So when I feel like it I wanted to put these two in some random artwork.
I also had a plan for a simple manga pages too. But we'll see where that goes.
Some stuff about the two:
Leiyah - a monster who sucks at being one. Monsters value strength above all else and while she has enough of it she is a pacifist at heart. Because of that she became an outcast and was living rather peacefully until she met a noble lady.
Iris - a noble who wants to be a commoner. Born into wealth, she could have anything she desired. Soon she realized that most people around her wore fake smiles and showered her with fake praise. Money could buy a lot for her, but she could never find freedom, until she met a certain monster.
I realized that I usually never give much thought or backstory to my OCs and I wanted to change that. Writing stories and making characters was always fun for me so I don't know why I never done similar stuff sooner.
