See they go with the angle that the message was translated correctly- but my question is is Kryptonian a language they just teach on earth now? And the only person able to teach is it Superman so-??? For comic accuracy- this movie does amazing. In some comic storylines, he is sent by his parents to conquer the world but the second half is damaged so he doesn’t know about that part and thinks he’s meant to be a protector.

2025-08-21 07:30:00 +0000 UTCI feel like the interview scene was so interesting and a perfect early character development scene for the audience to understand how this iteration of lois and clark differ from others. But it's funny seeing yalls reactions cause i felt almost completely the opposite. I definitely think in a sense of their romantic relationship Lois could've approached the conversation differently but Clark's lack of reflection really put me off. He came off as kinda of an ass and holier than thou that didn't want to hear any criticism. Which for the character of superman is really interesting cause he's always been portrayed as perfect to a fault but here he feels more human ironically. Also this felt like such a real couple argument with the complications of their jobs and being coworkers and his secret identity. I feel like i could write a whole essay on the amazing character writing in this scene alone and how it differs from the classic superman and lois portrayal. I'm also super biased tho cause I agree with lois' character with a lot of the points she made about consequences and his lack of forethought. lol sorry that was a lot and I haven't even finished the movie so hopefully they don't fumble the very clear line of character development needed. But also loving yall reaction so far 🧡

It's soooo funny, and it is definitely a fun break in between a lot of heavy stuff ya'll been watching. I Even though it's the second movie, you don't have to watch the first to understand it, I haven't watched the first and me and my daughter was crying laughing watching it lol.
