The storytelling was beautiful! ALL the actors were GREAT! It's probably one of my favorite movies that I've seen in a LONGGG time.

I love Sinners down, having family connections to Clarksdale and Chicago, while being black, it felt like this movie was made for me. I loved every character, and while I hated Remnick, I appreciated the complexity of him being Irish from a time before Britain colonized Ireland; Irish folks facing discrimination in the US before they were assimilated into white status, and the fist that was once over them is now turned on black folks. Just a beautiful movie in all.

Iβm 45, mixed and lighter than Caitlin and live in SoCal but going back home is the same as you see in this movie. Only the clothes and some of the music has changed a bitπ **before I retired in the Army, I challenged ppl to drive thru the Sip and come back to tell it. Iβm still waiting on the challenge.

2025-06-10 15:07:14 +0000 UTCI blame Mary more than Grace. I don't mind Mary being there, but her going out to talk with them shady folks was crazy. She was the og weak link. And what's worse is she seemed as suspicious of them as Annie. I can't fault Grace's actions too much because they played her, they knew she was a weak link, and they knew she was terrified and wasn't thinking straight. Many people have said that if roles were reversed and Grace was turned while Bo was with the group, then everyone would have survived and for that I agree. This movie was so much better than I thought it would be, I really loved it. The culture through music scene was definitely my favorite, it was beautifully done. Everything about this was so well done.
