100% armin, eren point it out and they only got that far because of armin. The commander has way more egoistic reasons behind his actions than anybody else and he has done enough as a leader.

2025-03-08 20:41:55 +0000 UTCI noticed that when Bertholdt was about to get eaten by Armin, the last thing he saw were his “enemies” which happens to be Eren, Mikasa, Connie, Jean, and Sasha. The foreshadowing from Marco’s death when the last thing he saw were his “enemies” vise versa which was Reiner, Bertholdt, and Annie.

Both of them are genius, but the Commander has such leadership skills which Armin doesn’t. He’s versatile. He can be the devil if needed, he’s fast in decision making and even move everyone’s heart to have the courage for a suicidal run. I don’t think anyone could replace him.

The way he cried out for his friends before realizing what was happening by how they were all staring back in horror and sadness... and then how he started calling out for Annie and Reiner. I agree with you, I know he did a lot of unforgivable things in the end but still...just seeing the way he went was so sad.

On one hand Armin is so smart and he got us out of so many situations, but on the other hand Erwin not only is smart but he has so much experience and that dash evil (that I feel was a bit exaggerated by Flock's speech) is necessary in their context. I wasn't 100% happy with the final decision but had Levi chosen Erwin I wouldn't be either, so I just had to cry and accepted any outcome.🤷♀️

The two of them were really smart and knew how to anticipate events in order to make good decisions and create plans quickly at critical moments. But, I think Eren needs both, Mikasa and Armin, to keep going, they are his driving force and, often, keep him grounded. And we had stated that we need Eren, so... Also, I think Armin's way to see life through all this hell was needed too. Having said that, I really liked Erwin. I truly think that was a huge loss (and a really difficult decision). I feel for Levi too, the commander was really important to him.

2025-03-07 20:18:11 +0000 UTCHow fitting in the way the Colossal Titan was defeated. Everything has come full circle! It all started with him in Shiganshina and now it ends with him in Shiganshina. And Eren was the one to deliver the final blow! Back in S1, he wasn't able to but with Armin's sacrifice, he was able to this time 🥺 The voice-acting was also fantastic! Kaji (Eren) and Yui (Mikasa) really gave it their all, especially Yui. The way she portrayed Mikasa did not disappoint. Her crying out as she was held back by Hange was just heartbreaking. I also loved how Hange started off holding Mikasa back and then it gradually became a comforting hug. Loved Eren's dedication to Armin as well! In his last moments, Armin entrusted everything to Eren and Eren in turn, fought for Armin until the very end. The same with Levi with Erwin. It's why in the end, I couldn't really fault anyone for the way they acted during all of this. In the end, one of them was going to die and it was essentially "reasons why MY friend deserves to live more".

2025-03-07 20:03:20 +0000 UTCi really like that Levi's reasoning to bring back Armin instead of Erwin was because he wanted to let Erwin finally rest. Like he wasnt thinking about their usefulness or who is more important or anything. He knew the person Erwin had to become in order to lead humanity, and wanted to free him from it. This was one of the most memorable episodes back when i watched it

His last choice as a commander and soldier that didn’t require him to sacrifice anyone else other than himself. Probably the less burdensome and stress-free choice he has ever done

2025-03-07 19:43:45 +0000 UTCI can’t please everyone so I would just prefer to do what is working for me. I’ve consider many ways to doing the display. I’ve changed the layout many times. Somebody always wants something different so I’ve just come to terms with whatever is working for me is what I’ll try or do. I may change it in the future, but currently it’s working for me. You can still see everything in my opinion.

Levi definitelly had the hardest decision, the struggle was there. Imagine that Erwin is one of my fav characters, prob my fav, and even that I thought Armin was the best choise. So happy to enjoy this with you Caitlin., I cant also imagine the show without Armin.

2025-03-07 17:15:36 +0000 UTCI would definitely choose Armin because even though no one can replace the commander and lead people the same way as him nor have a mind like him, they genuinely only came this far because of Armin. Before he came, the scouts didn't gain any knowledge whatsoever imo (like at the beginning of s1 ep1) and like Eren said them finding Reiner, moving at night, beating Bertholdt, etc was because of Armin. (maybe im biased tho lol)

Honestly as much as I love Erwin’s character and his leadership role I too couldn’t imagine the show without Armin too. I believe Levi’s decision was right to let Erwin lay to rest as he was playing as the devil (sacrificing their comrades) just to get everyone here. And I love the phrase Kenny said, “everyone had to be drunk on something to keep pushing. Everyone was a slave to something”
