2025-01-17 17:11:49 +0000 UTCI recently binged the whole series for the first time and am having a lot of fun so far rewatching with you and wanted to say about Littlefinger haha I obviously hate a lot of the things he does and he is a slimy ass guy BUT... the more I watched GOT the more I realized he is lowkey one of my favourite characters because he really plays the game and is just fun to watch. Like I'm always curious what kind of stuff he pulled this time and his one liners are so iconic. He's so brat.

Cercei is number one hated post Joff due to the fact that you KNOW she could have some type of humanity but chooses not to. The new guy seems to just be a psychopath so I can’t hold it against him to remain being a psychopath. He gives me NO good to hold onto. But Cercei CAN she just chooses not to at this point

She is ruthless, but not stupid and she rarely does anything she can't gain from herslef just to hurt others. Littlefinger is a megalomaniac, Joffrey is a psychopath and the one torturing Theon seems even worse. Not a huge fan of either, although Littlefinger is at least funny sometimes. Interesting how this show turns what you think of characters so much on it's head sometimes. Great reaction, looking forward to the next episode.

2025-01-13 18:48:06 +0000 UTCHonestly yeah. She may be evil but she's still human. You can see moments of vulnerability and "weakness" slip through occasionally. When she speaks to Sansa you can see her motherly side come out a bit but I think she also sees herself in Sansa and feels some sort of way about protecting her. Not in a way that actually helps her but she tries to prepare her mentally for what's to come. With Tyrion you can almost see her desperately wanting to give in to him being her brother and seeking comfort in that relationship but her hatred is too strong. With Tywin she almost sounds like a teenager desperately seeking her father's approval and protection which she is far from getting. Say what you will about Cersei but she's a complex character with varying emotions and motivations and tragedies. Littlefinger, Joffrey, and dude torturing Theon.....they are just straight up psychopaths. I know Littlefinger has some backstory but I genuinely don't think he cares about anyone's happiness but himself. He thinks he loves Cat and Sansa to an extent but I feel like it's more a sense of possessiveness. If he truly loved Cat he would've been glad that she was safe and happy and loved by Ned

Also just want to share this bit of information while I'm watching you talk about it, Daenarys in the books was just 13 years old when she was forced to marry Drogo and in the shows she's depicted as 16yrs old....yeah this world is messed up af to say the least if you see it that way.

My heart breaks for Sansa. I still stand by my word though, Tyrion is the only one really looking out for her. Rob made some decisions from the heart, not strategically and now it’s putting them in a compromising position. I want to offer so much more, but I can’t. But your insight is spot on so far! You are so much better at predictions than I am. 😂
