The last time they were in MAMA was in 2015 and there was one time we thought they will never be back again, so seeing them again on stage was like a dream. I cried when I heard the BANG BANG BANG intro. TOP unfortunately withdrew from the group last year. Its sad but he has been through a lot so if leaving the group is better for his mental health, VIPs will support him. But yeah, so happy and excited to see him pursue his passion in acting because it has also been 7 years since he acted.

I cried when they performed and I was shocked that G Dragon chose MAMA to do it when the last time he performed he dissed the show… lol To me… if people say a certain group paved the way for Kpop, I would say BigBang help clear the way for that path to be made. We got 2ne1 and BigBang this year! It’s amazing how much Kpop has changed and to see and feel the excitement of how it used to be, filled my Kpop heart… lol VIP Forever!! Bang Bang Bang T.O.P is no longer in BigBang unfortunately cause he was my bias and one of the all time greatest rappers in Kpop. You will however get to see him in the new Squid Games!!

Your reaction was great, honest, fun, pure Caity B. I liked that you loved seeing everyone coming together to appreciate Kpop roots and Kpop. It's been kinda of sad and rough in Kpop in 2024. 2024-12-01 16:32:12 +0000 UTCIdol Producer Songwriter Rapper Vocalist Fashion Icon The GOAT Living Legend King of Kpop GDragon is back after 7 years and still looks like he never left the stage.🥺 This man is literally credited on every BigBang song but is literally the babiest off stage like he is so shy!😭 (He trained in SM for like 5 years before leaving cuz he liked Hip Hop more and joined YG so he definitely got the vocals yk) Also Bigbang invented lightstick in Kpop and the YG ending also started with their song Bang Bang Bang😩 I love seeing all the idols reacting and can't wait for them to release new music

2024-12-01 15:10:27 +0000 UTCThat shot of the BigBang lightstick made me honestly so so emotional - for one, without GDragon, lightsticks wouldn't even be a /thing/ in kpop, as lightsticks is one of the things he pioneered in the industry (FormOfTherapy talks about it briefly on their channel I believe), but also how it ties into overall message of Home Sweet Home and this entire reunion. You're 100% right when you talk about how this performance really feels like everyone is in together!! The fact that they highlighted all the idols in the audience is just so sweet to me :') ALSO when Bangx3 was starting and the audience started singing I legitimately got chills... I wish I could witness this live because I bet this is an amazing experience! Especially since the last time they appeared on MAMA was almost 10 years ago on MAMA2015. About TOP - he officially retired as an idol (funny, considering the concept of his character in Squid Game), but he might (MIGHT!!) be coming back either solo or with the group in the future, because his and GD's instagram comments have been alluding to something happening? But knowing BB it's a 50/50 thing - they like to have fun with it lmao

VIP since 2012…been through it all with them and saw them live in LA…great live performance 💛💛💛. TOP ‘retired’ but we’ll see him in Squid Games 2, he’s a wonderful actor, if you have time watch the movie Tazza 1 and 2

FYI, that light stick is actually a crown and GD is the first ever K-pop idol to create that
