Sansa drives me nuts. She wants to be queen so bad that she refuses to accept truths. I was so satisfied seeing Viserys gone. That’s how he would’ve treated his kingdom if he ruled.

So the ending, think back to one of the first episodes when talking about the Targaryens, they said true dragons don’t burn. They showed this for her when we first met her in the first episode when she got into the hot bath and it didn’t burn her. Her story is one of my favorites and will make you so emotional. But. Viserys (GOD, I can’t spell anyone’s name) got what he asked for. He was a monster. What it a crappy way to go out? Yes. Joffrey is so good bc he learned from the best, his mother. She’s taught him how to be two faced and manipulate others. He actually is no longer an actor bc of how hated he was on this show. And yes, “the seed is strong”. Baratheons have dark hair. Lannister’s have gold…. We try not to do spoilers. Now when the whole show is done, go back and rewatch off camera and you will see all the hints and Easter eggs from the very first episode.

Not just Joffrey...all of the queen's golden-haired children.

Agreed. Very well put. I’m glad he had gone (in a sense, a bit sad that another targ got wiped off the earth) Although I still feel for him, it makes sense why he got so obsessed and crazy with trying to get the Targ name back.

L.S

Kind of scared me that Daenerys watched her brother die without so much as a blink. I mean… he was terrible but still blood… I think that also shows the Dothraki culture kind of seeping in

L.S

As much as I hate Viserys. Dude was right about a Dynasty on his shoulders, it’s sad to what the Targaryens have become.

L.S

Caitlyn will you be watching the history and lore after each season? That would be fun but also not necessary to the story, just a fun extra with info. Targaryens we’re from Old Valeria (one of the lesser houses) and it’s said they used magic to get dragon blood to run in their veins, which is why they also practiced incest as to not taint that blood.

L.S

Your speechlessness for the entire last 10 minutes lmaooo

Brittany Joy

Yesssssssss…….startin to get real up in here!!!!!! Lets gooooooooooo!!!!!!!

One of my favorite scenes in this season is the last one of this episode. The way they kill Viserys is incredibly suitable and so satisfying. You can also see she has clearly moved on from him and become something more than just his little sister. I also agree about Sansa, she is very naive.

GAGGED FROM THE GOLD. OML THIS SHOW IS TOO MUCH BUT I NEED TO WATCH MORE.

Neeko

I'm not sure if this was mentioned in previous videos or the next one, but the actress who played Arya took the time to learn sword fighting and everything else with her left hand since in the books Arya is left-handed.

Artemis Delphinia

seriously though, Joffrey was the OG of gaslighting lol

Nine years ago (soon to be 10), after much saving and scrimping (for vet bills/pet deposit etc), I got a tiny 7 week old orange kitten. I was obsessed with this show (my then-kids had never seen it, though I think as adult eldest has since watched much of it) My kids and I went back and forth with names and finally settled on Tyrion. Because the kitten was small, but mighty (came from a feral mom and legit hated everything and everything). After taking her to the vet, we discovered she was a girl and has since been known as Daenerys (Dani for short) and she is thriving...as 'slayer of hair ties' but no less a 'dragon' at heart. This episode is such a turning point for so many characters, good and bad! And really 'the one' that made me just enthralled with this show. I love that I have my Dani to remind me just how amazing it all is and how even the smallest can conquer. <3

When you think about it, Viserys (Daenerys' brother) entirely brought this on himself. His stupidity and lack of tact aside. When you said he sold her into this and how he's been treating her, it made me realize that he was her only family, he raised her. His cruelty was all she's known. And when he sold her, he unknowingly introduced her to a sense of community she never had, to what a family could be like, even if it's different from what we're used to in terms of family. She found the family he refused to be for her, so of course she would side with them. They treated her well (the rough turbulence of culture shock and cultural differences aside) unlike him. He threw her into the deep end of a harsh culture without support and she had to adapt to survive, becoming a part of that culture instead of fighting against it because he made her. And it bit him in the ass.

Girl when I tell you that you are getting so many things together way faster than I did lol. My brain took an extra little bit that or I wasn't paying as close attention as I thought I was.

Jazzy

I am loving this series! I litteraly made the connection about Joffrey at the same time as you

Caitlin's reaction to Jeoffrey-Sansa 💋 kiss 😂Priceless! 👁 roll " Now Sansa is up in Lala land!" "OMG". This gonna be a helluva ride and I am sooo down for it. 😊😊😊😊😊

genevieve higuera

Yeah it did make me a little sad when he realized they loved her and he hadn't felt that love in a very long time. Like if he wasn't an ass to Dany I would feel for him

Daniela V.

Love your reaction and excitement 😂 "A crown for a king" one of my favorite sentence of this show and moment too haah

Fiomj

You finding out the reveal of Robert's children made me laugh 🤣 .Yes black hair is more dominant and the blond hair was recessive and that Robert's children should have black hair no matter who their mother is. Jon Arryn kept saying "The seed is strong" on his deathbed actually makes more sense now.

Joy

“A CROWN FOR KING” one of my favourite moments in GOT, it felt so good to finally see that little ***** die

Portal_Paw

Fun fact about the Eyrie cells, the cells are actually slightly sloped and that slope only increases with each level going down. I still remember jumping with joy when Viserys died in my first watch. Now, after having dug deeper into his life, I have a bit more sympathy as he was a pretty tragic character. He actually genuinely cared for Daenerys at one point early in life, but his surroundings as a child in exile molded him to be the cruel, distasteful young man that was shown. This excuses none of what he did of course, but learning of his character has made me keep an open-mind to any character in any sort of fiction. A very valuable lesson Viserys taught me.
