Peter Balish (the brothel guy and I’m totally probably misspelling his name) has always felt very creepy uncle to me too. Just always kind of gives you the ick. God I love Aria and Daenerys. They are two fighters!

Daenerys is coming into her own and that's gonna be a problem for Viserys, which isn't a bad thing. I hate him. They could have left him in the damn bush. You are on the right path with some of your assumptions.

2024-10-21 22:30:27 +0000 UTCI am sooo glad I saw this series back when it first came out because so much time has passed that now it brings me joy again in re-discovering all the layers, shadows, shocks, bold plays and anticipation in this show! I am totally enjoying watching you dig into the characters and take shots at predicting the future! I keep thinking 'I can't wait until Caitlin sees _____'. The one thing we don't get to do the same is experience the insane large scale live watch parties that used to take over local bars across the globe! Everyone was so into the show that even the intro song was a 'not to be missed' event itself with people singing loudly and cheering! What I never realized until this moment is that the most prophetic statement was made in this episode. No spoilers, and literally you have to watch until the very very end and then rewatch this episode to get it. Will be fun to see if that comes to fruition. Let's goooooooooooo!!!

2024-10-21 18:17:53 +0000 UTCWow Tyrion actually made quite an impact on Jon in a short time. He seems to genuinely respect and trust him a little bit at the end there. Love that Tyrion both defended Jon from getting jumped but also stood up for the other guys at the Wall. As badly as some people treat Jon snow, Tyrion has a point, he's still incredibly privileged to be from the Stark family and that can easily go to your head. Another thing that stood out was his conversation with Benjen about the wildlings. He made such a good point about the wildlings' only crime was being on the other side of the wall when it was built. Such a simple concept that even people in real life don't really grasp easily. Ned and Tyrion are definitely my faves right now

There's something about getting so used to a theme song and hearing it for the last time in a series that really hits. I don't blame people cause some intros are way too long but I do be appreciating a lot of them

2024-10-21 15:57:23 +0000 UTCI agree with whoever told you to watch the intro music. 1. It's a straight banger and 2. Yes, the scenes will often change etc depending on the storyline at the time. Very interesting to watch. I found it helpful the first time I watched GoT in learning which animals/sigils etc belonged to what house and where they are in the world. It took me so long to learn names and keep up with the characters, you're doing great at it!
