TRAIN TO BUSAN FULL MOVIE REVIEW

Comments

At first it seems like the only one the dad cares about is himself. But, this is my 4th time watching, and if you put yourself in the perspective of a parent, I think what he did makes sense. He WAS selfish, but I see it as his daughter was always the main priority (once shit hit the fan anyway). He tried to shut the door of the train because the zombies could get to her. He wanted her to be sitting so that she would be as rested as possible in case they needed to run, etc. He was an asshole, but he was an asshole for his daughter's sake.

Sorry for making you watch this since you don't do good with scary stuff. This movie is one of my favorite zombie movie. The ending always makes me cry. The guy that plays the main dad Gong Yoo you may recognize him more in other kdramas when you watch it. One pretty famous one was Guardian: The Lonely and Great God also know as the The Goblin & he's in squid games too.

I'm loving this so far but let me tell you when the movie cut out and we couldnt see it but you were still reacting... That had me go from scared to dying laughing lol great moment. 🤣 Nah I just finished this...this movie broke my heart. I'm truly in tears 😭

Jazzy

The main guy is played by Gong Yoo, he is a really big kdrama actor, you might have seen him in Squid Games if you watched it. Everytime I watch this movie I bust out in tears. This is a really good example of a 10/10 zombie movie even though I would have loved to see some characters survive.

Sherree James

I remember the first time I had seen this movie. I had to PAUSE because my adrenaline kept pumping over the anxiety lol. And yep I still cry when she sings. Also yesss Don Lee was amazing as the dad. Also fun fact: stays refer to him as Changbin's dad since similarities lol

Train to Busan is an amazing movie, so heartbreaking and for a zombie movie, it has a lot of soul. and emotion. The cast did amazing and they are all really good actors (very famous as well). You may recognize the baseball boy from Parasite and some famous kdramas - Choi Wooshik. The character you liked is played by Ma Dong Seok and he is a great action movie star, the Roundup with him is a great one for example. Also, they tend to not notice the woman in the beginning of the movie (the first infected) and I see lots of people asking why no one seems to see her but it makes sense as in Korea, people tend to not look to others or pay too much attention on what another person is doing if they are strangers and also, the train is leaving pretty early in the morning, most people are either sleeping or tired. About the infection taking longer to take over some people and being pretty fast on others, I believe to be related to where they were bitten. The first woman to get bitten was in the neck and she transformed pretty fast. The others that took longer were in their hands or feet.

One of my favorite zombie movies period. This movie was definitely an emotional roller-coaster ride. It had to be a tear jerker ending too. I'm balling my eyes out at the end and this is my 3rd time watching Train to Busan.

Even rewatching this got my blood pressure soaring! Ma Dong-seok is such an incredible actor, lots of great movies. Gong Yoo (plays the dad) also has an extensive acting career and is often that guy who is kind of a red flag 😅
