2024-05-07 03:05:42 +0000 UTCthe way I subbed just for this drama heheeeee, I really should be more financially responsible and just wait for the edited videos on YouTube but this drama is so good that I don't mind watching it again fully lol, choi hyunwook (mini dad) is one of my favourite actors after I found him through weak hero class 1, he's also been in a lot of other dramas (e.g, 2521, taxi driver, d.p) so who knows you may watch another show of his at some point hahaha. I spoiled myself with the 'timeslip' surprise from looking up the actors on IMDB and the summary saying the main character goes into a 'timeslip'. Still, it was interesting how the timeslip happened. Giving me the same feeling of "It's A Wonderful Life" (American Christmas movie) from the time travel, only instead of the main guy being dead and seeing the future, the main guy is alive and seeing the past. Did not see that twist of Gyeol's dad being in the same band as the older guy who was playing piano and singing his heart out. About the fight: I understood his father as trying to keep his son from further destroying his life (since the vile landlady lied about him doing drugs and drinking and clubbing), so that's probably why the dialogue from the father was telling his son that he was "wrong" and "confused, trying to distract himself", since that is what drugs usually are for. BUT seeing that the dad was also once in a band, he could have also meant chasing after music after going through rough times in his venture through music (like his dad regretted ever venturing through music because of whatever happened to make him feel less secure about that path). It could have also been both (his dad could have had bandmates that had trouble with substances or something?). I don't know. Just my thoughts.

This works for me cause I have to edit these twice so my workflow is better this way. I think the captions are a bit small so I could make them bigger. I’ll try that and if not then we’ll see what else I can do. On mobile it’s not so bad to me.

2024-04-21 05:43:09 +0000 UTCJust noticed that WayV's Xiaojun kind of looks like iKON's Ju-ne/Koo Jun-hoe. Also this rock music more reminds me of an anime theme than anything else. Some of the notes in the busking guitar music that Mask Guy plays is reminiscent of "Butter-Fly" (by Koji Wada) from Digimon's first Season anime original (Japanese language) opening. That older man that played piano and sang so powerfully (and said he wanted to leave his CEO) reminded me of Yoshiki of X-Japan. X-Japan is a Japanese rock band; Yoshiki of X-Japan performed at MAMA 2023 last time with two TXT members and more performers--including Anton of RIIZE--for "Endless Rain", if I remember correctly. Ironically, the X-Japan member, Yoshiki, was also playing piano during the MAMA 2023 performance.

I didn’t know this because I don’t know Golden Child as well, but I do listen to some of their music and I think they’re a good group. I just don’t know all their names or personalities yet
