2021-07-23 16:22:18 +0000 UTCthem chopping wood gives me anxiety :) laying it flat on the ground goes against the grain of wood so its harder to cut your meant to stand the wood up and cut its easier but every time i see it i get sooo anxious :)

It bounced off the wood and hit his foot instead and here is Jin in flip-flops playing with an Ax without much control of it. I was like dude NO! Same energy I get whenever I watch Namjoon in the kitchen with a knife. 😂 Happy Birthday!! I hope you have a great time on vacation!

When they were chopping at the log on it's side, they were going against the grain of the wood, so it was a lot harder for them to cut up. Standing the log on it's end, the axe was going with the grain of the wood, so it cut much deeper and the wood continued to split cleanly. I don't think they realized why the single chop was so effective, but as long as it made Jimin happy, I guess. And Jin did manage to cut up a piece of wood, even if it took a lot more effort.
