2024-02-17 06:10:56 +0000 UTCi know im really late, but actually even without the fandom votes, and just the expert and self votes. the official end ranking wouldnt have changed. skz would have been first, then btob, ateez, sf9, the boys, and then ikon. (i loved their performances thought) everyone here deserved to win, the survival show votings are definitly more unfair. talented people dont debut, cause people fall for the visuals

I also agree that the ranking/scoring system was completely unfair towards groups like BTOB, SF9 and iKON since they're fandoms aren't even that big so to include the fan vote wasn't necessarily a bad thing but the fact that it was 40% of the teams scores which put the smaller fandom groups at a disadvantage. Just because they're famous and that they've debuted way before the others doesn't mean that they'll have a fair chance of winning when the ranking/scoring system was this messed up or that everyone will vote for them, not when the 4th Gen kiddos are doing so well.

2022-09-28 19:14:21 +0000 UTCMany people thought that the voting system for Kingdom was unfair, as explained in the previous comments. iKON was on a much disadvantageous end because people were not voting for them because others would exclude them of the 3 team votes. This is because people thought a lot of people will vote for them and we iKONICs really worked hard. From the very beginning I've predicted that SKZ will win this because they're 4th gen, and they have the biggest fandom among all the teams. As a One It (fan of X1), i didn't trust mnet, as always. But I am still glad you're reacting to this because the performances are really awesome. No one deserved the 6th spot really.

I think the prequel, Road to Kingdom was much fairer because the groups voted among themselves and they only voted for who they thought was best. If they wanted to include the fans, it should have been a smaller part of the score not over 40%. That was too much of an advantage for groups with a bigger fandom. People vote for their favorites and their faves are not always the best performances.

They're all in YG (Big Bang, Blackpink, Winner, Ikon, Treasure). Mino helps in rearranging the songs for this performance as well as some future performances.

2021-06-19 05:24:37 +0000 UTCit is true that stray kids have the biggest fanbase however with the way the voting was organized this was as much of a disadvantage to them as it was an advantage. we had to vote for 3 groups at a time for the votes to count, therefore other fanbases were able to exclude skz knowing they have more fans - we knew this too therefore we worked even harder in the voting to counteract that. hope this makes sense

2021-06-06 19:26:44 +0000 UTCI'm glad you choose to watch the full episode. I love seeing the groups reacting to each other performances. I'm a Melody (BTOB Fandom) but all of them did good. This season was too hard to rank anyone in my opinion.

2021-06-05 01:42:23 +0000 UTCYea, You guessed it right. Stray Kids has the biggest fanbase out of all the groups and they won fan voting + streaming views at every round. So It's not very fair. In fact, the whole evaluation criteria is not fair at all except for the judge panel. Because during the self-evaluation part where each group has to vote the three performances they like best, they only vote based on who they think would have the least expert's vote, who they think have the least fanbase and who made mistakes/accidents on stage. Basically, they vote the group who they think would have the least chance of winning that round. There was some audio clips floating around the internet during the first 2 weeks of the discussion between the members before they decide to vote on which 3 groups. And it instantly went controversial and the drama broke out from fans complaining that the 6 groups themselves are not being fair at all. Thankfully, the audio was censored and nobody knew which members of which group really said those. So their reputation damage was kept at minimum. After that, Mnet stepped up and monitor the groups and their conversations during voting so that it's fair and things like this wouldn't happen again. But yeah! Overall the show is rigged. And you can skip the episode 6 if you wanna see the performances only. Because that episode is just a sport day episode and they are just having fun and playing games in that.
