I agree. It's of course usually up to the author's personal tastes as well, or what he/she plans to create. But seeing it purely from the perspective of Patronage and support (I.E. "business-wise") I think it would simply be a pragmatic approach to allow for Futa ports (perhaps added as a benefit in a new Tier), because - ultimaltely - it would mean potential new supports (or would just make a number of existing supporters even more happy of being Patrons for Oni).
