The other movie Mat is thinking of which stars Kathy Bates is Delores Claiborne. I've never seen it, so I don't know how good it is, but I've heard lots of great things about it, so I was going to recommend it just based on your reaction to this one, thinking it's something you two might be interested in. That one is also a book by Stephen King. This was a fabulous reaction, guys. I loved how stressed out this made you, Emily. Because it's that good kind of stressed out when you're watching something that's intense and done well. The suspense in this movie was done so well, and I'm so glad you two liked it. Emily gives it less stars because Buster dies. Haha, Buster dying is master storytelling, because we know Annie couldn't just let him leave when he knows Paul Sheldon is there. He's a witness. Buster's death effected her so much because of how well done the character of Buster is. So the movie gets less stars because of how good it is. That's just so hilarious to me. I love it. "Good vibes." LOL, Mat kills me. Also, "I hope you never love me that much." LMAO! Kathy Bates and James Kaan were both so good in this. Unreal performances from everyone on screen, and Bates totally deserves her Oscar for this. I read the book Misery about 10 times, so here's a few more tidbits. One, in the movie, the book Paul was writing at the start, the one Annie made him torch, was untitled, but in the book it had a title. It was called Fast Cars. Two, in the movie, Annie hobbled him by breaking his ankles. In the book, she only does one foot... Except she chops it off with an axe and then cauterizes the wound with a blow torch. Three, in the book, the typerwriter loses another letter. It throws its R. When he complains about it, Annie cuts off his thumb. Later, Paul has a birthday. Annie puts candles on it. In the middle of the cake, there is another "special candle." It's his thumb. You're welcome. *Smile* Again, great reaction guys. Can't wait for the next one. Oh, and just one more thing. I just have to say, I'm your number one fan. :D
