Out of all the arcs in the game, Yumiko's was my favorite by far. The anime adaptation really did her story dirty. I never went past the first season, so I don't know if they just saved the rest for later. Only so much you can cram into 13 episodes and I can kind of agree with the staff's decision that Amane's arc is probably the most important to Yuuji specifically overall and thus needed the most time.
