Fun details for ep4: - Jerome isn't actually Lena's uncle by blood, but he was a close enough friend for her to refer to him with familial terms, safe to say that any arguments Lena presents he has probrably hear a million times from her father, atleast that's why I feel he always has a counter to her points, he's heard it all before. - the last name on the memorial is Vaclav, Lena's father, but the republic was anticipating far more deaths as the empty memorials continue on, almost as a stand in for those 86 who died graceless. - why the republic chose to have it be around the neck... is honestly probrably because the author likes stuff like that... her first afterword starts with a rant on garterbelts... but the one on the ear for the 86 is a parallel to how most livestock have one of their ears tagged
