2023-09-14 00:45:52 +0000 UTCAn interesting takeaway I had from the Round Table. It was originally done so to symbolize that everyone sitting at the table is on equal footing regardless of anything outside that room. All the Guild Masters were sat around the round table during episode 9. Shiroe was standing. He didn't sit until ep 10 where he'd already dropped the hammer and won. Take that how you will but I don't think it was an accident xD

2023-09-13 13:02:53 +0000 UTCWas looking forward to you guys to get to this point. Love that power move of his! He has literally made himself the single most powerful person in the whole city in one move! And taken on the burden of also probably being the most hated/villain.

2023-09-13 09:31:28 +0000 UTCIn a feudal system, the King controls all the land and decides which people are nobles who get to control land. Those nobles can then extract rent from the land (and the peasants they allow to toil on their land). King Arthur is a little tricky though, because he's more of a legend than a historical figure. However, he's usually imagined in a world of chivalric romance, which implies a European Feudal system I think. (Oh, one other thing, the King didn't control the lands owned by the Holy Church until Henry Tudor had that problem with his annulment and decided he was both King and head of the Church of England).
