Erm, I was going to wait till the next ep, since you'd realize there anyways. But I suppose this bit doesn't really matter: Ye Xiu had nothing to do with Xiao Shiqin's transfer (he wouldn't be doing his future opponents that sort of favour). It's all Tao Xuan's work -- naturally, since he's Club Manager (actually he was the Club owner in the novel), no transfers can happen without his say, let alone releasing the requisite cash (I think a player of XSQ's status would be worth at least 15 million yuan if I recall correctly). Tao Xuan's belatedly realized that his baby YX replacement is sorely lacking in tactics, and so has taken steps to remedy the situation, though unfortunately too late to save them from relegation. The Challenger's League will be the next battleground and only one team can make it out of that pit. You're right though that XSQ intends to "manage" Sun Xiang. He's clearly more mature, far more quietly confident, and realizes he needs to get Sun Xiang on his side if he wants to truly turn the team around. His goal is to return EE to the pro League, with himself at the head of a Strong team, unlike his previous one. A powerhouse with players & characters strong enough to realistically challenge for the Championship, against other titans like Tiny Herb and Blue Rain.

2023-03-19 14:12:42 +0000 UTCElder Chad π€£ I like this Golden Generation club. Basically the good ol days people. And Xinjie is kinda cracked. So he's the one... What's going on with Shiqin? Is our analysis close enough? -Brandon

2023-03-18 23:14:28 +0000 UTC(PS: It's apparently just coincidence that they were grandly named the "Golden Generation", they already had this name before some of them went off to become awesome in a few years)

2023-03-18 18:12:45 +0000 UTCHalfway point! As they said, Xiao Shiqin is one of the 4 Master Tacticians -- now, you've met all 4. Su Mucheng called him an "old friend" because they both joined the League in Season 4 -- they and others that joined in this season are called the Golden Generation. Every new generation of rookies gets an informal moniker like that, having their own group chat etc. Notable others in the Golden Generation: -- Zhang Xinjie, Tyranny Vice-Captain (the Chad that always sits next to the Elder Chad Wenqing) -- he was so talented that his tactics even as a rookie provided the extra nudge Tyranny needed to finally end Excellent Era's 3-time streak, earning Tyranny its first Championship in Season 4. -- Huang Shaotian and Yu Wenzhou -- they debuted together, with YWZ acting as tactical core while HST would be the opportunist Sword, silently roaming the field while remaining watchful over YWZ, allowing YWZ to work his magic in battle. -- Li Xuan -- the Ghostblade Captain of Team Void that mercilessly defeated Yifan at the All-Stars.
