Update on Tier Pricing (iOS Issue)

At the start of this month, I had planned to switch my Patreon currency from USD to GBP. Unfortunately, due to an annoying limitation with iOS payments, I’m not able to make that change right now. As a workaround, I’ll be adjusting the tier prices slightly to better reflect the value and exchange rate.
The $3 tier will increase to $4, and the $6 tier will go up to $8. This change will only apply to new members — if you’re already subscribed, your current tier and price won’t be affected.
I’ll be making this change next week, due to the shift in plans from what I originally mentioned. And if anyone happens to know a workaround for the currency issue on iOS, feel free to DM me — I’d really appreciate it!

I just subbed. I thought Tier 1 had early access to comics? I can’t seem to see anything on my end

2025-05-15 19:33:58 +0000 UTCyeh, the fee is annoying, but it also puts a 75day wait time before the money can be processed, and you need to have 0 balance to change the currency, so i would have to pause all payments for 2 and a half months to get all those payments filtered through. sucks but i did see though that apple is dealing with a court order around this payment fee stuff. so maybe they will be forced to stop this malicious behaviour

2025-05-07 14:02:54 +0000 UTCThis is a fee apple enforces on all payments made use their payment system... And apple also enforces that all apps in their store HAVE to use their payment system! The only "workaround" to this is not to subscribe from the IOS app.. Do it using a Webbrowser and you won't have to pay their stupid fee... [This isn't something where a patreon creator can do anything about except tell his subscribers...)
