2020-03-15 01:38:00 +0000 UTCAaaaaand enter one of my top 5 favorite characters that I mentioned before - KIMIMARO! This dude just EMBODIES badass and sheer willpower. He's both a genius AND a hard-worker, and he's cool as hell too. I would say I ship him and Tayuya, but she and Sakon were really FALLING for each other this episode :^) One weird thing about this is Shikamaru saying his shadow techniques don't work at night. That makes no sense. We know from the Chuunin exams that not only can he use his shadow within shadows, but that they actually HELP him by extending his own shadow's reach. And what is nighttime? It's the ENTIRE EARTH'S SHADOW! How does his shadow NOT work at night, instead of being COMPLETELY OVERPOWERED at night? Makes no sense... Oh yeah, and the guy whose body Orochimaru took here, I thought he sounded familiar. He's the English voice of Ichigo from Bleach as well as Lelouch from Code Geass. So while you don't see much from him at all in this series, you know he was meant to be good just by the choice in voice actor alone lol.
