However, I'll say that even despite Tsunade's feelings, the choice is clear. I couldn't see Tsunade considering to help Orochimaru for even one second. She knows her reunion with Dan and Nowaki wouldn't be pleasant once they found out what kind of deal she made to bring them back, because she KNOWS how much protecting the village meant to both of them.They'd feel betrayed by her.

2020-03-10 17:16:31 +0000 UTCFirst thing I gotta say is, younger Tsunade is cute af! Not too big bust size, and that fishnet x) Someone like her didn't deserve what happened. No one does. Being the one who dies isn't as bad as being the ones left behind. Tsunade had it happen to her TWICE, and BOTH times it was after she gave them her necklace. No doubt that would make her feel superstitiously responsible. What makes it terrible is that it means that the necklace is both her only memory of them and also an object she considers a curse that killed them. It's why she learned to become such a good medic. Sadly we usually only take countermeasures AFTER the fact of a tragedy (like me backing up my saved game data in multiple spots after my 360 got a red ring and I lost months and months of Minecraft work and other games). And on one hand Jiraiya could've been saying "If you would, I would stop you right now", but he's also saying "I don't think you'd do that, because I'd have stopped you if I did.". It's kind of a nice sentiment that Jiraiya trusts her, while also laying down the law of what he'd do if she did. And we see that, even in the past, Orochimaru was a cynical "ray of sunshine" lol.
