Hmm, that is odd. You could try addding a "clean" node before you export. It could be that Blender interprets one of the attributes incorrectly. I know the vellum post process sometimes changes attributes too.

Hi Paul! Thanks for the tutorial, when I try to export the simulation using rop_alembic output spheres are all wires instead of complete spheres like in houdini. any idea what might be the reason? Edit: Adding Vellum Post Proccess and subdiving the simulation seemed to fix it but not sure why :) I am guessing Blender doesnt like triangles
