Up Next: The Finale of 'The Quarantine 15'

I know it's been a minute, but I think it's time to begin wrapping up this story before the year gets away from me. There are four more chapters planned, ending on Chapter 19. So far I've written two and a half and have a clear vision on how to wrap this up. I've put a lot of care into crafting this narrative arc (my longest yet!) and I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have. Since it's been so long I've provided a brief "previously on..." below to get everyone back into the narrative.

Previously on... The Quarantine 15

Chapters 1-5: The pandemic hits and society is in shock. Alex and Emilio's third roommate Asia flees to her parents house. Locked inside with nothing to do the boys are left to their own devices. Alex flexes his culinary skills while Emilio shows off his amateur baking. They eat well and they eat a lot. With no one else around sexual tension builds between the two men. Finally, on a hot summer day whilst barbecuing on their porch, a bit of alcohol brings their inhibitions down and they finally hook up. 

Chapters 5-10: The boys have gained quite a bit of weight from their newfound lifestyle and when Asia returns for a fourth of July get together she is shocked. Meeting up with their old friends Danny and Amir, they learn they're not the only ones stacking it on during quarantine. Meanwhile, Alex and Emilio' grow increasingly close and begin thinking of each other as a couple. Unfortunately, Emilio loses his job and is unable to cover rent. He makes the difficult decision to move back home to Dallas. 

Chapters 10-15: Emilio faces pressure to lose weight by his parents and is humiliated by a doctors a visit. Meanwhile, Alex moves into a studio and his despondency at losing Emilio results in even more weight gain. The boys grow increasingly distant as they live separate lives. The holidays hit and Emilio's weight yo yo's much to his parents dismay. Alex spends Thanksgiving with the still plump Danny and Amir, but heads home for Christmas. On Christmas day, the boys reconnect over video chat and make plans to see each other for New Year's.
