How do you feel about stories that acknowledge COVID-19?
Added 2021-02-12 16:00:04 +0000 UTCPoll time! Obviously, society has been irreparably changed by this pandemic and there are moments where I am unsure whether or not I should acknowledge this. I personally strive towards a level of realism and therefore tend towards incorporating our current situation into stories. At the same time, it can be limiting to what I write to the same degree it limits us in real life. So, I'm on the fence. Do you prefer stories that take place in a coronavirus reality or not?

Covid is real, and there are a lot of people putting on weight (and liking it, apparently, from all of the Tik Toks I'm seeing). I am reading mostly for the weight gain and fat fantasy so getting too far into the negative psychological effects of Covid wouldn't be for me.

It doesn’t annoy or offend me though and it has its positives so I say definitely feel okay to make mention/set stories in a Covid world!
