I love love love this movie, aside from a few nitpicks (including the storytelling thing you mention). One thing I love is how they lead you in the direction of a straight romance for a split second. And then Galo literally drops Aina because he sees a reflection of something... which turns out to be Lio.

2025-03-30 22:23:14 +0000 UTCI agree, the soundtrack is fire! (lol) I watched this at the cinema when it first came out and omg, I was visually blown away, it was truly an experience. Is it the deepest story with levels of writing? No. Are the characters charming and is it fun to watch? Hell yeah! Also yes the linger on the breath of life was intentional, followed by the heart smoke that formed when they started combustion! We had some shippers in house. This is such a fun film to watch and I'm glad you enjoyed it too!
