It has the best actors, it is SO well-written, the costumes and sets are exquisite, and the best female characters. It is not an easy show to start, so be prepared for confusion at the beginning, but it is well worth the effort. It will literally rewrite your Cdrama DNA!

Alright NO SPOILER tips for Nirvana in Fire. - You can watch the INTRO (need to) There is no images from the series, but the music... The main theme is SO beautiful. ENJOY - Nirvana in Fire is old school Chinese drama. It is literally like you would be reading a book rather than watching it. - Loads, loads, loads of characters and NAMES (If you thought the Untamed was bad) Seriously, I still don't remember the names other than the main ones. - Some version has removed Zhang Zhehan (Our lovely Word of Honor actor) from some parts, but I think he is on the Netflix and Viki sites versions. (I rather support the boy) - It is one of those longest series to watch, 54 episodes! - Not sure if it is good reaction series, but it is glory as hell. Trust me, you will see why. (Meaning, Brittany's nose will be glued to screen the whole time)
