2023-10-18 16:44:20 +0000 UTCit is so true that stede/ed and aziraphale/crowley are very similarly coded, as well as them ending up in similar situations at the end of ofmd season one and good omens season two, if you think about it. i also think they have similar tones in their wildly goofy/campy comedy that is actually well mixed with serious, emotional moments. i absolutely love this show and i'm excited to watch these reactions and your reactions for season 2!

2023-09-21 18:33:14 +0000 UTCWhen I first watched this show, I had no idea who Taika Waititi was or what this show was even about; I just saw that reactors kept posting reactions to it and I have learned that if a show/movie gets popular on the reactor circuit, it's going to be good. So I had no idea what I was getting into and yes, it was so much fun going in blind! I binged the whole thing in one sitting, and it was a lovely surprise 😁

Other than the pantry scene you may have ALSO missed the implication that the established thing with Lucius and Pete was Open during the confrontation with Izzy in ep 5. "we don't own each other" and Pete thought the confrontation was hot. That also had pretty obvious established together vibes :P But also general polyflexible crew(or at minimum Lucius) vibes. "he's drawn most of us" They really just gave us a crew that leaves ALL KINDS of openings for shipping.

If there is ANYBODY in media that deserves the title of bitchy sub it's fucking Izzy Hands. Also, there is some stunning Lucius/Izzy fic out there. If I'm not being unbearably obvious, I'm a big fan.
