UPDATE: 4/5/2019
Just letting everyone know, That Im raising my prices up a fair bit again, because I barely raised them previously it didnt really aleaviate the issues ive been having as I had hoped. so to further help myself, sanity, and work flow im raising them again a bit more. along with adjusting the quality of my higher end tiers since this will allow for more time to be spent on them.
I ran a stop watch yesterday on a single flat character piece, just to see how much time im really spending, and it took me 3 hours to complete.
So yeah, between myself and my Fiance we think its best I raise my prices more then just a few bucks, to actually see any results~
Hope you all can understand! I really dont want to push anyone away or out of a chance to commission me, I appreciate and love all the support I get from you guys ❤️

Ive noticed That Ive been taking longer on commissions for a while now, and I couldnt figure out why till recently.. I noticed Ive been improving on my line work and other aspects which results in longer work hours... way back in the day, I rarely did inked commissions, it was all clean sketches that were colored or detailed, and my turn-around time was pretty fast. the commissions were usually under 200$ at most and ! would usually get multiples done in stream each day. where as now.. some where along that line, I stopped leaving them as sketches and started inking them. which made them start to take longer.
I totally phased out that sketch commission option all together and adopted my full detailed / inked commissions as the regular with out really adjusting my prices. they stayed the same for some time and gradually increased over the years.. but they still arent the same prices that I used to offer then. What I offer now ( full detailed inked ) starts at 200$.. back then it started at 225$ but they werent readily open.. so I feel like Im selling myself short. I want to better my time-frame and be worth the amount of time I put into them, since they are noticeably taking me longer to put out because Im adding more detail into it where I can.
If I upped my prices, enough to alleviate some of the extra commissions I need to take to fill my quota each week, it would further allow me to put more effort and detail into my pieces with out struggling for time. I just dont want to put my regulars out of being able to commission me, because I increased my prices a bit, on top of taking less commissions.
So to make things easier on my patrons, Id like to see what you feel about having the amount you pay as a pledge each month, knocked off the price of what ever commissions youd get?
