Season three is a queer story. But I think you will enjoy and love the whole series! It is a really special, beautiful and deep show! When it aired it broke all kinds of records, was innovative in the way it was created and published, plus it was adapted into several different versions in different languages. I think we have young royals because SKAM existed and was so amazing.

2022-12-11 18:10:40 +0000 UTCLoved all of you Young Royal reactions! But the S2E6 was so genuinely good. I am left with so many questions regarding what could happen in a season 3. My first question was...at the moment Wilhelm comes out publicly...the queen reaches back to her assistant to stop the press from recording. Was that a mother protecting her son or a queen protecting the crown? Also will Sara going to the police endanger Simon because of the drug dealing aspect of things? I also have to say that Wilhelm's slight smirk as the episode faded to black was perfect! I am so hopeful that there will be a 3rd season so we can get some answers. But if that was the end...it was still a great ending. Thank you so much for the time and work you put into all of these great series! I enjoy every one of your reactions!

I know what happens, of course, but it's such a joy to watch you dissemble. The quality of the writing and, indeed, all of the production values of this series never cease to astound me. It took me a while to realize the really extraordinary parallel of Sara, who has Asperger's and therefore a narrowed version of understanding of her world and how it works and Wille who doesn't have any of that kind of limitation but still because of the stricture of his privilege and his upbringing has just as narrow an image of HIS world as Sara does of hers. It is a knock out blow to the viewer when we realize that Wille, in HIS narrowed version of his world, hasn't realized that Simon's song is about him.

2022-11-13 00:48:02 +0000 UTCA quick post about the subtitles, because it was bugging me as well. There are 2 English sub tracks, the standard and the [CC] for people who are hard of hearing. The standard English subs did not originally have the translations during Simon's singing, but Netflix appears to have updated them recently and they now do contain the text. The [CC] subs have always had the translation. I watched YR from downloaded files as opposed to streaming (shame on me, I know). These files contained the non-updated subs where Simon's song translation is missing. With the [CC] subs, I found the extra notes about background noises and ambient music and such to be a little distracting to read, so I preferred to watch with the standard English titles. I would then switch to the [CC] subs only during Simon's singing. One last note; in the files I have, the English [CC] subs are listed as "SDH [eng]". Hope this helps!

At least I seen other reactions where the lyrics have been subtitled. I'm not entirely sure but I think it's the English [CC] subtitle track you need to pick in that case.

(My prediction and I could be very wrong: that he show of a/play a kind person in the beginning to later reveal his true colors which is I exptect is not that nice). We´ll see.
