No post tonight because I’m clumsy - RIP macbook
Added 2024-09-17 18:43:30 +0000 UTCHey everyone. I’m really sorry to have to do this, but I can’t post tonight after I tripped walking between classes and managed to total my laptop. I’m beyond angry with myself because I really need it for my classes, so have had a horrendous start to my 2nd year. Also managed to skin my knee, rip my favourite jeans, and just generally embarrass myself in front of a hundred or so people. Fuck Tuesdays.
I’ve found someone who is selling a newer macbook nearby but they say it won’t be available until tomorrow, so I’m going to check it out and, all going well, will be back up and running sometime tomorrow.
I’m going to try and do some writing on my phone tonight to try and make up for all the lost time. I don’t know if I’ll be able to make up all the images tomorrow, depends how early I get home and how long it takes to setup everything. At least my stuff is backed up though, so not a complete disaster (but it really is. Everyone saw me)

It’s good to know I’m not the only clumsy student in the world, though it felt like it at the time. I’m actually waiting on my taxi now to go see this guy who’s selling his macbook. Don’t worry, I’m taking a friend just in case I ended up on some Netflix documentary after being stuffed into a suitcase 😬. I’ll hopefully be back up and running very soon. Hell, I need to be or I’m playing way too much catch up with my studies and writing

2024-09-18 19:07:59 +0000 UTCSomething to make you feel better, i had Physics in college at like 730am, so would always grab breakfast to go from the cafeteria (think foam takeaway container) but also rode my bike on campus, so would sort of hold my food with one hand while steering with the other and had one morning where i bumped into something and just ate shit off the bike and spilled some breakfast all over the floor. No time for embarrassment because class was starting shortly and i was all cut up coming into class hungry because the sidewalk was enjoying most of my breakfast.
