Supporter appreciation post (and content update)

The move back to university this week has been nothing short of hectic. Stuff isn't working in this house, we've had to deep clean it just to make it liveable, and I feel like I've had no time to myself. But I'm still super happy to be back.
As such, Chapter 4 of Gothicc High is going to be ready for tomorrow evening. I've got some free time Friday to crack on with the next Temptation, but the weekend is looking very busy for me. I'm aiming for Monday, Tuesday at the latest, for Temptation C4, and then we should be sorted for 2 a week with the odd bonus caption story thrown in for good measure.

Now, on to the gushy, mushy, lovie dovie supporter appreciation part of tonight's update:

As some of you might know (I think I've mentioned/hinted at this previously in various convos with some of you), I was previously working as a barmaid during my first year of uni to help pay for student life. That, coupled with my studies and writing, left me with effectively negative free time and something was always going to give, and obviously the studies couldn't be it.
Back in March, as I was wrapping up The F Word, I was seriously considering if I would continue writing. Not because I didn't enjoy writing, or because I, rightfully, had some negative feedback on The F Word, but because I couldn't financially afford to cut back my hours in the bar to focus more on the storytelling. Maybe because I hate making big decisions like that, or I'm a glutton for punishment, I stuck it out with both for a little longer.
'Sister-in-law comes to stay', then Free Use Law, came next and both were insanely popular. I would never have guessed that my patreon would just explode like it did, but April was insane, and every month after has been an incredible surprise with just how much support all of you have given me.

By the end of the semester I told my manager that I wouldn't be coming back after summer, and she more than understood. I started this patreon because a few of you reached out to say that you'd like to support me if I created a page. I hadn't even considered making one before that, I thought the buy me a coffee was more than a fair way some of you could help out, if you wanted to. But I am grateful that I took the advice on board because of just how much it has improved my personal life.

I'm getting a little emotional writing this and I don't think words are going to do my feelings justice. Thanks to all of you I have spoiled my little brother, first at Christmas with pretty much all the money I'd made by that point (who needs to be good with money anyway?), and more recently for his birthday. My parents aren't struggling, but they can't afford large presents at the moment, so getting him a nice new TV and a playstation was beyond a shock for him a worth every penny to see the look on his face.
I even took my girlfriend on holiday for her birthday, surprising her with a trip to Croatia. We took a very romantic evening boat ride to see dolphins!!! I think about that day pretty much every night.
I never thought that would be me, but I could never have done all this without the love and support you offer me, and I can't thank you all enough for that.

I hope to keep improving my current and future stories because that is the best way I can think to thank you for what you all do for me.
I ask that none of you go beyond your means in providing support. I appreciate each and every one of you, whether you support for a month, or you're one of the amazing people that has been here since the beginning. Everything will eventually end up on Reddit, I've no intentions of ever paywalling story finales, and if you can't afford to support I would never ask you to choose my silly stories over your own wellbeing and that of those you care about.

In the future I hope to manage to get a third post out every now and again, so that the patreon posts move a few chapters ahead of what is released on reddit. I believe we are now at 4 chapters for both stories, where as it used to be 3, but the aim is to keep going as and when I can.

Oh, and discord access is now a perk for all tiers, so don't forget to link your discord if you want to join the server 😊. I'm hoping to turn it into a discussion area where you can more freely post feedback etc to help me improve my craft.
