The Elderwood Colossus is a massive, ancient tree-like guardian. Its body is composed of intertwining roots and branches, covered in moss and luminescent fungi. It has glowing emerald eyes and wields enormous wooden limbs to crush intruders. Occasionally, it releases a burst of magical spores that cause various status effects on players.

Behind the Creation

For the Elderwood Colossus as the name implied I wanted to play around with the idea of a massive hulking frame to portray the feeling of a colossus!

I made a few sketches to explore the feeling of different builds, but I arrived to the idea I had in mind relatively quick (luckily!)

When it came to the bust portrait I also did not want to lose that atmosphere so I chose what I considered and interesting pose, coupled with some grungy inking!
