Alstreim full preview and updates!

Apologies for the lack of updates recently, grad school being quite active, however that doesn't mean I've been slacking with our Librarium effort! In fact tonight I want to show you guys a comprehensive preview of Alstreim, our animated skeleton pick!
I'm still picking up tricks to nail the "ideal" RPG maker animations, I must admit I'm not a huge fan of the default system and its limitations, but one's gotta stick with the greater good option I guess!

In other news, Mimic is up next! I already have it animation ready, hopefully I'll get most of it done tomorrow, and I'll have a nice weekend to work on the wisp!

2016-03-07 02:11:52 +0000 UTCWell it's at the very beginning of the game. You start off with a few peasants who will become the main heroes. But since you are starting with a farmers you need to go find weapons. So there's a cave nearby where a hero was once captured and held in a cell. Unfortunately this is where he met his end, but his equipment is stored there in a chest. I was thinking about having the hero as a character that you are able to get to join your team now as a skeleton. But I was torn on what might have captured him in the first place. Now seeing this animated battler, I'm gonna make the enemies long passed as well and now undead crawl all over the cave.
