Never Before Seen!: The Original "Loading" Video

Hello Patrons!

First I want to say a huge thank you to all the new people who made a pledge this month. As well as thank you to everyone else for your continued support!

Did you know that the "Loading..." video I released in 2016 wasn't actually the original video?

In fact, I first got the idea for a video where I rant about loading bars back in 2014. Here's the tweet I posted when I got the idea.

I then wrote up a script for the video and recorded the voiceover. Here's the full original script for "Loading".

I will make a separate post for the voiceover so you can listen to that. Heads up: It was recorded in 2014 so I sound pretty different to how I do now ;)

The GIF at the top shows how far I got into the animation for the video.

Yep. It's just the intro. I'm not sure exactly why I didn't get further although I wouldn't be surprised if school had something to do with it.

The idea was then put on the backburner and I worked on other projects such as "Spoilers" and GameShow (Don't worry, more episodes are coming soon!)

Eventually in the spring of 2016, I got a new spark of inspiration to make the animated rant video. However, upon looking at the script, I wasn't happy with it. It seems that in the two-year period my humour had matured and my voice definitely had too. So I decided to write a brand-new script and record the voiceover for it.

Thus we have the "Loading..." video you can see today on my channel. I was super pleased with how it turned out and as my channel has gotten larger, it has slowly become the second most-viewed video on my channel at over 930,000 views. Fun fact: It's also the first video in which I used my current thumbnail text style.
