The Dorklevel Reward System

Hello friends,

The t's have been crossed and the i's are dotted. The new dorklevel reward system is ready. It's been partially explained a few times but here's the full spiel on how it works:

How does it work?

In addition to the monthly bundles of minis, patrons can earn additional rewards by gaining dorklevels. There are different ways to level up, and each time you do, you get access to a new reward level. When you gain a level, you'll get access to a MyMiniFactory group with that level's reward models.

How do I gain levels?

Right now, to get this system going, there are just a couple ways to gain levels, but more will be added over time. 

Become a patron: everybody starts at level 1.
Be a patron for 2 months in a row: Gain a level.
Be a patron for 4 months in a row: Gain a level.

Currently it's just consecutive patronage, but in the future, things like lifetime patronage, challenges, posting makes on MMF or cults and other cool stuff will get you more dorklevels.

What to I get at different levels?

These are the currently available levels and their rewards:

Level 1:
Just as before, when you sign up, you get the starter pack. Downloadable via MMF or patreon.

Level 2:
At level 2, you get the new Master of Summoning model. This guy can also be bought via MMF but if you stick around for a second month, he's free!

Level 3:
At level 3 you get the full deadzone patrolbot pack. There's one of these guys in the starter pack but the full pack includes a lot more options. 

When do I receive the rewards?

Just like the MMF group invites for monthly bundles, the dorklevel reward invites will get distributed on the 2nd of the month. If you level up that month, you'll get an invite to a new level group. 

example: Dr. Jodeo Bonefinger becomes a patron in March, and stays signed up for the next month, April. On April 2nd, since Dr. Jodeo has been a patron for 2 consecutive months, he will level up and get an invite to the level 2 reward group.

note that rewards will ONLY be distributed on the 2nd. This is to avoid the gigantic mess of trying to make sure each individual is up to date when they sign up or rejoin. This will only matter for the starter pack. You'll always be able to download it via patreon but if you sign up after the 2nd of the month, you won't get MMF access to it until the following 2nd of the month.

That's about it! Right now, all you gotta do is kick back and let the rewards come to you, but soon there will be more interactive and fun ways to get more cool stuff!

The first blast of reward invites...

The first reward invites will go out RIGHT NOW. This is a bit of a special case because I want the first round to be retroactive. However, due to the exponential nature of the bookkeeping for backchecking it'll be a one time deal.
If right now you are currently a patron and have ever met the criteria for gaining a level, you will receive some group invites today.
Going forward, only levels gained that month will get calculated on the 2nd.
That said, in the future, if you subscribe as a returning patron and you know you met the criteria for leveling in the past, please feel free to message me about it and I'll get you set up at the correct level :)
