Oh my gosh Jim I was rollin laughing thinking about cruising on the high seas with BTS. One of the only reasons I regret my age (62) is that I will not get to see BTS in their 50's. I am glad I rewatched this show with you. It was fun.

i also think it´s the reason both j-hope and RM had no dance in their newest albums. they wanted to focus on the music to be a real artist. not a kpop idol who is known for the dancing and visuals. over time you get older and less appealing to look at and dancing will be hard. so i think it´s so cool they are doing this to prolong their career. i was always attracted to their music before the dancing. but for a kpop fans in general, who love more than one group. values the dancing and visual aspect the most i feel like. because most times the number of views on a video is way higher than the streams and sales. and that is not the case for bts. BTS has many older fans too who can overlook their pretty boys appearance and just appreciate the music. i am in it for life i want to grow old with them.

Amazing Saturday is a diction competition variety show. There's a fixed cast of comedians, idols, rappers. And each week there are guests (usually idol groups). They have to work together to guess correct lyrics for songs in order to win food. If they get it wrong a YouTube mukbanger eats instead. I think they've done about 15-16 bts songs over the last 3 years? They just used airplane pt 2 for their new years episode.

Shin Dong Yup aka Shin Dong Yeop is a long time comedian and mc. Well known in Korea with a long career in the entertainment industry. He's the center of my favorite show with Key, Amazing Saturday. I think he and Yoongi make an interesting pair and probably have a lot in common in their personalities.
