Knitting Fabric Textile Tutorial

Hope you enjoy this 2 part knitting lesson, this covers the basic of generating knitted curve structures using highly modular and flexible approaches.  These base curves are then used to generate individual fibers that make up the yarn which produces a highly detailed and fuzzy look.   Rendering and lighting is done using Redshift strands with a hair shader and some material based optimizations are covered which can reduce render times by limiting the number of reflections that are calculated.

Hello, John! im trying to make knitting animation setup with your example of sweeter, like Paul Esteves did it here https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cqh_EAeugtq/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D but when im applying soft transform by mask to animate knitting and then using sweep node, all my points started to change their own position and its flickering on render like this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZkdKLsOgM36RAOjpFIR08Cmm7VTWG_4t/view?usp=drive_link if im making sweep before stretching lines looks awfull

Reducing the number of curves, resolution of curves, reflection limit and GI bounces will all all speed up your render.

incredible work as usual) how can i speed up a render coz 20 min for 1 frame its no way
