Printer Papers Tutorial Part 3

Part 3 of this series is ready!  Finally some of the fun stuff :D (lighting, shading and rendering)


I cover how to build out the paper shader for Karma XPU, override texture maps for front and back faces as well as override other aspects of the scene on a shot by shot manner in Solaris.

I'm sorry the first portion has a little scratchy audio, it's fixed in the later portions, I've upgraded my mic and I believe I found some really good mixing settings for the audio recording and this is the best I've gotten it to sound so far!

In this setup for redshift, I use a prim texture override for the wood pieces on the floor https://www.patreon.com/posts/balloon-bash-55715177 This is not with Redshift Solaris though. I would hope once Redshift supports MaterialX than my Solaris setups will work better with it. https://trello.com/c/ksqaHyn3/89-materialx-support

Hi John, any clue what could be the process to randomise the textures of papers in redshift ? i did find a process (saul espinosa one) but work on 'points' not prim... thank you
