Kunoichi Intro Part 1

Name: Shizuko (静子)

Bio: Shizuko is the oldest and most experienced of the Chiyozaka (蝶夜坂) Kunoichi. She was born as the eldest daughter of the second son of a powerful daimyo but fled her family after she killed her father's mistress. After wandering the country, she was taken in by the Chiyozaka to become a kunoichi. Her noble upbringing and calm demeanor has made her into an intelligent and patient assassin. With the growth of the Chiyozaka Clan, her role has shifted from that of an assassin to that of the kunoichi's primary intelligence gatherer and planner.

As there are very few men left in the world, only a few women have experience with them - with many peasant girls going their whole lives without even seeing one. Shizuko's prior life provided her with many opportunities to interact with and learn about their various habits and peculiarities. As a result, she is quite experienced in the art of seduction and her assassination records attest to her effectiveness.

Misc: Shizuko, along with the Master of the Chiyozaka Kunoichi, is a lover of books and classical poetry. Their common interests and Shizuko's tendency to stay behind to provide logistical assistance while the other kunoichi are on assignment has resulted in the two having a bond much "closer" than that of the other kunoichi.

Name: Haru (はる)

Bio: Haru was born as the second daughter of family of poor rice farmers. One fateful afternoon when she was only 9, a band of samurai of her lord's rival clan raped and killed her entire family before burning down their farm. Haru escaped into the woods with her baby sister, before being rescued by a group of Chiyozaka Kunoichi. Her strong body and natural speed gave her the tools to become an incredibly gifted assassin. To this date, she boasts one of the highest kill counts in the history of the Chiyozaka.

While Haru is capable of carrying out any mission, her natural skillset is that of an assassin and she is primarily used as such.

Tools: Sword, knife, scythe

Misc: While she doesn't like to admit it, Haru has an incredibly high sex drive that reaches its peak at the precise moment of a kill. While most of the other kunoichi receive assistance from their Master to deal with their urges, Haru's natural tendency to get embarrassed whenever the topic of sex arises means that she spends most of her down time alone. This means that she is often left out of kunoichi pillow talk and gossip and has given her the reputation of a loner, despite her efforts to grow closer to her sister kunoichi.

When her urges do arise (which is often, in her line of work), she resolves them by herself or by using her enemies.

Name: Aki (あき)

Bio: Aki is Haru's baby sister and the only other survivor of the massacre that saw their whole family killed. Aki has no memory of their previous life, knowing only the world inhabited by her fellow kunoichi. She is still only a kunoichi-in-training, but the Master noticed her eagerness to learn and improve and occasionally allows her to observe the other kunoichi carrying out their various missions.

Tools: Training sword, technology

Misc: Aki really respects her sister's natural ability, but Aki's smaller and more gentle frame doesn't allow her to reach the speeds and do the damage that her sister is capable of. While the other kunoichi are on missions, Aki spends much of her time training in the compound with the Master and Shizuko. As a result, Aki idolizes Shizuko, considering her to be like a second older sister. Secretly, she wishes to one day be a master seductress like Shizuko.

Name: Kei (圭唯)

Bio: Nothing at all of Kei's previous life is known to the other kunoichi, as Kei has never once spoken about it. In fact, Kei rarely speaks at all, leading many outside of the inner circle of kunoichi to believe that she is a mute. This peculiar trait is true to Kei's nature: a person who lives their life in a purely efficient manner. She wastes not words, just as a good assassin would not dare to waste an arrow nor pour too much valuable poison than is absolutely necessary to kill their target.

Kei is equally respected for both her abilities as a killer and for her incredible kind and caring nature to her fellow kunoichi. Oftentimes, the other kunoichi will wake up to find gifts and presents left by their side as Kei leaves to or returns from missions (as that is more time efficient than giving them directly). She has all the tools needed to be a master assassin in her own right, but more often than not chooses to participate in an auxiliary role, performing whatever support duty is most necessary for the mission at hand.

Tools: Whatever is best for the occasion

Misc: Kei is a woman of action, and she sees plenty of it. Both on the battlefield and in the bedroom. Her body is a fine-tuned machine and, like any machine, requires frequent maintenance and lubrication. While Haru has the highest bodycount, Kei likely has the highest count of bodies (if you catch my drift). Though, she wouldn't tell you if she did.

Name: Kane (歌音)

Bio: Kane is the youngest daughter of a family of modest merchants, who made their living selling simple wares in the center of the country. Always longing for adventure, she left home the first chance she got and quickly found herself recruited by the Chiyozaka Clan. She is still young and inexperienced but has managed to gain the attention of the Master, giving her privilege to the kunoichi's inner circle.

Kane is a very talented kunoichi, but her inexperience has lead to several accidents and close calls, leading to her reputation as somewhat of a liability to send on sensitive missions. She wishes for a chance to prove herself on a solo mission, to prove to the other kunoichi that she deserves to stand among them.

Tools: Sword, throwing knives

Misc: Kane is a very willful, if somewhat shy individual. She struggles with satisfying her desire to improve with her need to not cause problems to those around her. Noticing and understanding her problems, the Master involved her in inner circle affairs, hoping to give her the confidence needed to unlock her true potential as a kunoichi. Kane is very appreciative of his kindness and generosity, and looks often for opportunities to repay in kind.
