I feel like with NLB there was a lot of slow burn and then indeed a big dramatic twist and change of pace, while this so far has been mostly slow burn with minor twists and turns. I suppose it's really up to personal prefrence which one you prefer, and I think it would be fun to see some kind of a NLB development where it is revealed who filmed tessa and saiya for example. I also wouldn't mind another 500 pages of slow burn though, if I'm honest. And I think there's still interesting things to be done and tension to be created within a story that doesn't feature very large dramatic shifts.

2025-02-20 17:00:41 +0000 UTCEvil is great for kinks. Recently I wrote a 63 page (fictional) story about an evil fat lady who vores 7 people and lesbian-rapes a girl. And people liked it! Very evil, very kinky, very long even! No argument there. But let's do some dramatic twists. For the purpose of hypotheticals, let's assume we only use evil , grimdark stuff, and only exactly the same kinks that are on the table so far (stuffing and gaining). Let's have Tessa forcefeed Saiya. Let's have Aika get mad at Saiya and team up with tessa to punish her. Let's have Tessa call the police on Saiya (maybe a sexy police lady? offer some donuts?) and have Sayia have a weird psycho meltdown. Honestly, as much as I like tessa, let's have her literally die of a heart attack and see if that causes Saiya to confess her crimes to Aika, or not while a sexy chubby detective chases her. Or what if Saiya becomes a super villain, building a harem of chained up girls in her basement, fed only butter and only given a hose-wash once weekly. Super dark and evil, right? Let's do something different and dramatic that's a plot twist. You see, we can keep things evil, use the same kinks, and have a more dynamic story. No Lunch Break was a great example of this. Evil stuff, Dramatic twists. Then, if you open up not just grimdark evil, and more kinks, there's infinitely even more variety.

2025-02-20 15:04:20 +0000 UTCThe way these stories go is that one thing (even if there are questionable/bad intentions) always leads to another and results in one of the characters taking the next step, that sort-of brings all of them closer without even realizing it, like rivals taking a liking to eachother, who knows. One of the reasons Aika is my favorite is because of the way she has developed in her own way. That and her personality, looks, gluttonous dominant attitude (as you mentioned) and all that. And you're right, i don't think there's been a character quite like her who'se used her own gluttony to tease someone else on that level, which she does really well... One method i hope she'd use on Saiya is seductive pretend-play with her food. "Hey, Saiya, remember when i called you a cute little cupcake? ..." *proceeds to grab one and slowly gulp it down whole, trailing it down with a finger, patting her belly staring at Saiya with a grin and smug/satisfied look on her face, fufufu'ing, which absolutely drives her wild*

2025-02-20 12:22:10 +0000 UTCThe reason it sometimes feels like no progress is happening is because people keep pushing for more pure fanservice and I eventually budge and focus on that. It's really difficult to keep up the pace of the plot while also putting out enough pandering because to me the loudest voices are always the ones who want no plot and only gain. I'm not saying this isn't my fault, I'm trying to manage it better but the balance of progressing the plot-vs-just focusing on sexy all the time is really complex to manage.

2025-02-19 23:46:08 +0000 UTCY'know the whole humiliating and degrading and turning someone into a useless fatso thing isn't my cup of tea either, but let's not forget there are people who like this stuff. Tessa is made to be the character who gets treated this way by saiya, that's her thing. In any case don't let the characters of a fetish comic get to you, and, while I'm part of her biggest haters club, don't judge saiya too harshly for being a horny gremlin. Many of us are Saiya, if we're gonna be real about it. I know I got a little saiya in me.

2025-02-19 23:14:03 +0000 UTCI don't know if I agree with many others about the comic not progressing. It really has felt like a slow descent into (horny) madness. On the one hand you have Aika spiraling out of control, but also becoming more dominant and horny, and on the flip side you have tessa where it's actually saiya thats spiraling out (TOOL reference) but Tessa is losing her fame and her sex appeal and becoming more submissive and all that. I feel like the characters have always kind of been set up in this way and it also echoes with previous kip characters. besides, it's a really good way to give people who are into one or the other (so people that like sub or dom or like force feeding as opposed to just gluttony stuff like that) what they want to see. I personally like Aika's dominant, gluttonous attitude which is honestly something kip has explored pretty little in previous comics compared to the more submissive, humiliating type weight gain. To expect anything less than the two sides of this coin, so more of a wholesome story where everyone can be fulfilled emotionally like some people seem to want is, I think, not fair. Kip characters have always ended up in wholesome relationships and with happy endings, but a lot of evil horny stuff always has to precede it. This also creates tension and a reason for the story to keep going. And the evil horny stuff is lowkey the hottest. Which is kind off the unfortunate nature of any kink, right, "hey this evil stuff is kinda hot though". Rant over.

The scenes are entertaining, but it’s getting to a point where characters are just running in place with no progression. It’s unbelievable that almost 600 pages in, Saiya still hasn’t faced any real consequences for anything.

2025-02-19 16:30:08 +0000 UTCAll right time to be real. I'm into the stuffing and I don't mind weight gain, but I find the emotional context of this scene to have finally become sad rather than sexy. If the pair were committed or if saiya wasn't going to immediately rush back to aika it would probably be fine but at this point it's a little bit sad that Tessa is just being repeatedly used for saiyas amusement, then repeatedly abandoned in the context of a long dramatic story rather than a one night one shot. It feels like this has happened so many times that we are beyond the point where saiya could conceivably be forgiven, she is just an insane villain. I want to see saiya get punished and I want to see Tessa be loved
